DESCRIPTION

MC12FA181J-F is a Type MC multilayer RF mica chip capacitor designed for high-frequency, high-power applications requiring excellent performance at UHF/VHF frequencies. This 180 pF capacitor operates at 100 Vdc with a 1210 case size (3.2 mm × 2.5 mm × 2.0 mm maximum height), featuring a natural mica dielectric that maintains extremely high Q across many megahertz. The device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a capacitance tolerance of ±5% (J-code), and exhibits superior RF current handling with dV/dt capability of 20,000 V/µs. The capacitor is wave-solderable, FR4-compatible, and free from thermal cracking, making it ideal for MRI coils, RF instruments, power amplifiers, tuned LCR circuits, and other demanding RF applications where reliability and high-Q performance are essential.
