DESCRIPTION

SCD305K122C3Z25-F is a Type SCD IGBT snubber capacitor module designed to protect against voltage transients in low to medium current IGBT applications where high dV/dt is encountered. This module features a capacitance of 0.30 µF with ±10% tolerance, rated for 1200 VDC operation, and is designed for direct mounting to IGBT modules with 25 mm lead spacing. The capacitor delivers a peak current capability of 305 A with low ESR characteristics, low inductance construction, and employs a self-healing low-loss polypropylene dielectric. It operates reliably over a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C and is commonly used in power conversion circuits, motor drives, and renewable energy applications where transient voltage suppression is critical for protecting semiconductor devices.
