DESCRIPTION

831709C2.0 is a subminiature switch from the Series 83 170 designed for dual-current (1 mA 4 V minimum) or medium-current (5 A maximum) circuit switching applications. It features a polyester UL 94 VO case, glass-filled polyamide button, gold-plated AgNi contacts for dual-current operation, and copper-nickel terminals. The switch operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +130°C and offers an operating force of 0.6 N (2.2 oz) with a total travel of 1 mm (3.5 oz). This DIN 41 635 B compliant switch is approved by NF, UL, and cUL, making it suitable for industrial control and automation applications requiring reliable low-current switching.
