DESCRIPTION
The DAR71275FU is a UL-approved, normally open high-voltage relay from the DA(UL) series designed for high-reliability applications requiring 7.5 kV isolation between contacts and coil. It features a 12 V DC coil with a must-operate voltage of 9 V and must-release voltage of 1.25 V, along with operate and release times of 3.0 ms and 2.0 ms respectively (with diode fitted). The relay employs a high vacuum reed switch with rhodium contact material, providing low contact resistance of 50 mO (typical 15 mO), and supports a maximum switching voltage of 1000 V DC/AC peak with a maximum switching current of 3 A and carry current of 4 A. The PCB-mounted unit includes flying lead HV connections using UL3239 22 AWG cable rated for 20 kV, making it suitable for cardiac defibrillators, test equipment, and high-voltage power supplies where high isolation and reliability are critical.
