DESCRIPTION

DAT72405-HR is a high-voltage reed relay designed for precision switching in demanding applications requiring very high isolation voltages and low leakage currents. The relay features 5kV isolation across contacts with rhodium contact material, delivering low contact resistance of 50 mO (typical 15 mO) and exceptional insulation resistance of 1×106 O minimum. It supports switching voltages up to 1000 V DC or AC peak with a maximum switching current of 3 A and carry current of 4 A, while maintaining a maximum switching power of 50 W and capacitance across contacts below 0.2 pF. The relay operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C with an operating time of 3.0 ms and release time of 2.0 ms, achieving a lifetime of 106 cycles in dry switching conditions. These specifications make DAT72405-HR ideal for sensitive test and measurement circuits, cardiac defibrillators, high-voltage power supplies, and other high-reliability applications where low leakage current losses and high isolation are critical.
