DESCRIPTION

The 53717-88 is a D-frame linear solenoid designed for two-position actuation in intermittent duty applications. It operates at 24 VDC with a coil resistance of 12.3 ohms and delivers pull forces ranging from 123 oz at full stroke to 8 oz at 0.750" stroke at 77°F and 100% voltage. The solenoid features an encapsulated coil with Class A insulation rated to 105°C (or optional Class F to 155°C), 0.4375" diameter plastic-guided plunger, and dielectric strength of 1000 VRMS plus 2× rated voltage for 1 minute. Mounting is via eight #8-32 UNC-2B holes, with dimensions of 1.996" (L) × 1.626" (W) × 1.828" (H) and total weight of 12 oz. This solenoid is ideal for industrial automation, valve control, and electromagnetic actuation systems requiring reliable intermittent operation with moderate force output.
