DESCRIPTION
The 09060 is an elastic adjustable wrist strap designed for electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection and grounding in workstations and controlled environments. It features an elastic adjustable wristband that can be sized to fit individual wearers comfortably while maintaining proper electrical contact with the skin, and includes a coil cord for connection to ground points. The wrist strap incorporates silver fibers that are sensitive to heat and should not be exposed to laundering temperatures exceeding 120°F, and the elastic material can be replaced when worn using replacement item 09029. The system is designed to work with common point ground blocks and banana jack connections to ensure reliable grounding, with a maximum system resistance limit of 35 megohms as recommended in ESD S 20.20 standards. This wrist strap is commonly used in electronics assembly, repair, and testing environments where protection against electrostatic discharge is critical to prevent damage to sensitive components.
