The 09070 is an adjustable elastic wristband with a 6-foot black cord designed for electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection and grounding applications. It features a knit elastic band material composed of light blue fibers (50 strands polyester, 36 strands lycra spandex, and 14 strands silver-plated polypropylene yarn) that is 0.875 inches wide and 0.10 inches thick, with conductive properties provided by silver-plated polypropylene representing 13.5% of material weight. The band incorporates a patented floating cam lock mechanism with dual stainless steel cam locks (small for material replacement, large for size adjustment while maintaining electrical continuity), a 4mm machined stainless steel snap stud with 1-5 lbs breakaway force, and a 300 series stainless steel backplate. The wristband is adjustable from 2.5 inches to 13 inches in circumference and meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards with UL listing 90P1, making it suitable for personnel grounding in ESD-sensitive environments such as electronics manufacturing, assembly, and repair operations.
