DESCRIPTION

The 515-1071F is a 2-element light pipe designed to guide and distribute light from surface-mount LEDs in electronic applications. It is molded from clear transmissive polycarbonate (UL 94V-0 flammability class) with a diffused front surface to provide uniform light distribution. The component features a pressed-fit design for integration into printed circuit boards and is compatible with Dialight surface-mount LEDs such as the 599-04XX-127F series. The light pipe's optical design and diffused finish make it ideal for indicator panels, status displays, and illuminated control interfaces where consistent light distribution and aesthetic appearance are required. As an RoHS-compliant component, it meets environmental and regulatory standards for modern electronics manufacturing.
