DESCRIPTION

The 515-1301-1000F is a vertical panel mount OPTOPIPE light pipe designed to transmit LED light from a PCB to a front panel indicator. This flat lens variant features a 3mm diameter output and is precision molded from RoHS compliant UL94-V0 water clear polycarbonate with an oxygen index of 35%. The light pipe has a length (Dim "A") of 1.000 inch (25.40 mm) and is secured to the front panel via a press-fit mounting hole of 0.115 inches (+0.003, -0.002). It operates reliably across a temperature range of -30°C to +100°C and is optimally designed for use with Dialight surface mount LEDs, particularly PLCC-2 and PLCC-4 configurations. This solution provides a cost-effective method for bringing LED indication to front panels in products where the PCB is parallel to the panel.
