DESCRIPTION

515-1353-0800F is a vertical panel mount OPTOPIPE® domed light pipe designed to transmit light from surface mount LEDs to front panel indicators. This 0.800 inch (20.32 mm) length light pipe features a domed lens with diffused surface finish and is precision molded from RoHS compliant UL94-V0 water clear polycarbonate with an oxygen index of 35%. The device operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C and mounts through a 0.156 inch (±0.002 inch) diameter hole with a minimum panel thickness of 0.040 inch (1 mm). The domed lens style provides optimal viewing angles for single or multiple colored LEDs, delivering light through photonic emission with low voltage and minimal power consumption. This cost-effective solution is ideal for products with PCBs parallel to the front panel that require reliable LED indication.
