DESCRIPTION

The 597-7701-202F is a bicolor red/green LED designed for indicator and display applications requiring dual-color signaling in a compact package. The device features a water-clear epoxy body with AllInGaP die technology for both red and green emitters, offering luminous intensity of 18 mcd (red) and 11.2 mcd (green) at 2 mA forward current, with forward voltages of 2.2 V (red) and typical values for green. The red LED has a dominant wavelength of 630 nm and peak wavelength of 643 nm, while the green LED operates at 570 nm dominant and 572 nm peak wavelength. Operating temperature range is -40 °C to +100 °C, with a maximum continuous forward current of 15 mA and reverse voltage rating of 12 V. The device is supplied on a sample tape strip (suffix -202F for 20 pieces) with 100% tin lead finish over nickel underplating, and is rated for ESD withstand voltage up to 2 kV. Common applications include status indicators, alarm displays, and dual-state signaling in consumer electronics, industrial controls, and automotive systems.
