DESCRIPTION

The 1.5KE13CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for overvoltage and ESD protection in electronic circuits. It features a breakdown voltage of 13 V (±5% tolerance) with a stand-off voltage range of 12.4 to 13.7 V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 18.2 V at rated current. The device is rated for peak pulse power dissipation of 1500 W (10/1000 µs waveform) and steady-state power dissipation of 6.5 W at 75°C ambient temperature, with a peak forward surge current of 200 A. Operating over a junction temperature range of -50°C to +175°C, the 1.5KE13CA is ideal for protecting sensitive components in commercial and industrial applications including free-wheeling diode circuits, ESD protection, and transient suppression in power supply and signal line protection.
