DESCRIPTION

The P1000A is a standard recovery rectifier diode manufactured by Diotec Semiconductor, designed for 50/60 Hz mains rectification, power supplies, and polarity protection applications. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 50 V, maximum average forward rectified current (IFAV) of 10 A at 50°C, and a forward voltage drop of less than 0.9 V at 5 A. The diode exhibits a reverse recovery time of approximately 1500 ns and a peak forward surge current of 400 A (50 Hz, 10 ms) or 450 A (60 Hz, 8.3 ms), with a junction temperature range of -50°C to +175°C. Its compact package (Ø 8 × 7.5 mm) is smaller than industry standard, and it is compliant with RoHS and REACH regulations, making it suitable for commercial-grade rectification and protection circuits in power electronics.
