DESCRIPTION
SK16 is an SMD Schottky barrier rectifier diode designed for output rectification in DC/DC converters, polarity protection, and free-wheeling diode applications. It features a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (V_RRM) of 60 V, a DC blocking voltage of 48 V, and a forward voltage drop of less than 0.70 V at 1 A, ensuring efficient power conversion with minimal losses. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -50°C to +150°C and has a peak forward surge current rating of 30 A (50 Hz, 10 ms) or 33 A (60 Hz, 8.3 ms), with a typical thermal resistance of 70 K/W junction-to-ambient. SK16 is available in SMA (DO-214AC) surface-mount package and is compliant with RoHS and REACH standards, making it suitable for commercial and industrial-grade applications including power supplies, battery management systems, and switching circuits.
