DESCRIPTION

The SMS390 is an SMD Schottky barrier rectifier diode designed for output rectification in DC/DC converters, polarity protection, and free-wheeling diode applications. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage rating of 90 V, a forward voltage drop of less than 0.79 V at 3 A, and a maximum junction temperature of 150°C. The device is housed in a DO-213AB plastic MELF package and offers high power dissipation capability with a typical junction capacitance of 40 pF at 4 V reverse bias. With an average forward rectified current of 3 A and peak forward surge current of 30 A (50 Hz, 10 ms) or 33 A (60 Hz, 8.3 ms), the SMS390 is well-suited for commercial and industrial-grade applications requiring reliable rectification and protection in power conversion circuits.
