DESCRIPTION

The 84-906 is an E-stop protective shroud designed to safeguard emergency-stop switches and buttons in industrial control applications. It features a 50 mm outer diameter with yellow plastic construction (RAL 1003) and provides IP65 front protection against dust and water ingress. The shroud incorporates an anti-twist device and is compatible with front panels having a thickness of 1 to 3 mm, requiring the e-stop button to be rotated 180° during installation. This protective accessory is suitable for use with stop switches and helps prevent accidental activation while maintaining accessibility for emergency situations. The shroud is not compliant with EN ISO 13850 but offers practical protection in industrial environments where emergency-stop accessibility and durability are required.
