DESCRIPTION

The S500-3.15A is a fast-acting, low breaking capacity fuse designed to IEC 60127-2 standards with a 5mm x 20mm physical size and glass tube construction featuring nickel-plated brass endcaps. This fuse is rated for 250V AC with an interrupting capacity of 35A and a typical DC cold resistance of 3.2 ohms, providing reliable overcurrent protection in electronic circuits. The typical melting point is 0.58 A²sec with a maximum voltage drop of 1300 mV at rated current, ensuring predictable performance during fault conditions. The S500-3.15A is widely used in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and power distribution applications where fast-acting protection is required, and optional axial leads are available for enhanced installation flexibility.
