DESCRIPTION

The 628-000-924B is a DVI to 15-pin VGA adapter designed to convert DVI analog signals to standard VGA format for display connectivity. It features high-cycle dual beam low insertion force contacts and a fully shielded design to protect against EMI/RFI interference. The adapter incorporates a polarized D-subminiature adapting end with a 4-40 threaded insert and thumbscrew for secure mounting. Key electrical specifications include a 1.5 ampere current rating, 40 V operating voltage, 500 V dielectric withstanding voltage (10 milliseconds), and 1000 megohms insulation resistance at 100 V DC, with 75 ohms impedance on coaxial wires. The insulator is constructed from UL94V-O thermoplastic polyester with a nickel or tin-plated steel shell. This adapter is ideal for professional video installations, multimedia systems, and legacy display connectivity where DVI-to-VGA conversion is required.
