DESCRIPTION

197656GN is a 1 Pole thumbwheel switch from EECO's 1976 Series with 10-position decimal output code (D02) and a separate common terminal connected to non-true bits. The switch features a compact 0.350" width to save valuable front panel space, with a minimum mechanical life of 1,000,000 detents at 10 mA and 5 VDC. It operates with a tangential force of 5-16 Oz and supports a maximum switching load of 125 mA at 28 VDC or 115 VAC, with initial contact resistance of 100 mO maximum. The switch is constructed with polycarbonate housing, gold over nickel plated contacts, and glass epoxy circuit disc, operating reliably across -20°C to +75°C. This switch is ideal for industrial control panels, instrumentation, and data entry applications requiring compact, reliable decimal encoding with flexible output configurations.
