DESCRIPTION

The 1A212001G is a 2100 Series STRIPSWITCH® PCB-mounted thumbwheel switch that combines direct decimal to binary conversion in a compact package. It features 10 switching positions with a mechanical life of 250,000 detents at +25°C and an initial rotational torque of 1.0 to 4.0 inch-ounces. The switch supports a maximum electrical current of 3A non-switching and a maximum rated switching load of 125 mA at 28 VDC resistive, with a switch circuit resistance of 100 mO maximum. The housing and thumbwheel are constructed from glass-reinforced polyester (UL 94 V0), and contacts are copper alloy with gold over nickel plating. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +75°C, and the device is lead-free and fully RoHS compliant. This switch is ideal for applications requiring compact operator interfaces with customizable legend locations and is commonly used in control panels, instrumentation, and industrial equipment where decimal-to-binary encoding is needed.
