DESCRIPTION

The 230056GB is a double pole rotary DIP switch from EECO's 2300 Series MICRO-DIP family, designed specifically for CMOS applications with 10 binary switching positions. This switch features a unique output arrangement where all four bits are always connected to one of two commons, allowing the use of a single pull-up resistor instead of four as required by conventional DIP switches. The switch is rated for 10,000 detents at +25°C, with a rotational torque of 1.0 to 2.5 inch-ounces and a maximum electrical current of 1A non-switching and 100 mA at 5 VDC switching. The 230056GB is housed in glass-reinforced nylon with gold-plated copper alloy contacts and includes an epoxy seal on the bottom terminals, making it suitable for wave soldering applications. This configuration is ideal for embedded systems, industrial control equipment, and consumer electronics requiring reliable configuration settings with minimal component count.
