DESCRIPTION

CMF is a high-power modular output module designed for the CoolX1000 fanless 1000W intelligent power supply system from Advanced Energy's Excelsys product line. The CMF module operates at a nominal output voltage of 48V with a maximum current of 12.5A and delivers 600W of power, occupying three slots within the modular chassis. It features precise voltage regulation with ±0.5% line regulation and ±3.5% load regulation, along with comprehensive protection mechanisms including overvoltage protection (tracking OVP at 102% of setpoint), overcurrent protection with hiccup mode, and short-circuit protection with autorecovery. The module supports remote sense capability with maximum cable drop compensation of 0.5VDC and includes a turn-on delay from AC input of 1000ms and from global enable of 20ms. CMF modules are ideal for applications requiring high-density power distribution in scientific, medical, and industrial systems where fanless operation and modular flexibility are essential.
