The XS1000-24N-000 is an ultra-compact, high-efficiency 1000 W single output power supply from Advanced Energy's Excelsys Xsolo series, delivering up to 1008 W in an enclosed, fan-cooled chassis suitable for BF-rated medical applications. The unit provides a nominal output voltage of 24 VDC with a maximum output current of 42 A, featuring adjustable output voltage range from 19 to 28 VDC via multi-turn potentiometer and dynamic Vtrim range of 14 to 28 VDC. It incorporates advanced protection features including over-voltage protection (32–36 VDC latching), over-current protection (105–130%), remote sense capability, and power good signal monitoring, with load and cross regulation of ±0.2% and transient response settling time of 500 µs. The power supply operates across universal input voltage (85–264 VAC, 47–440 Hz) with a maximum inrush current of 25 A at 230 VAC, and is designed to meet MIL-810G shock and vibration standards while maintaining operation from -20°C to +70°C ambient temperature.
