DESCRIPTION
The IR200 is a non-contact forehead infrared thermometer designed for quick detection of elevated body temperature. It measures body temperature in the range of 89.6°F to 108.5°F (32.0°C to 42.5°C) with an accuracy of ±0.5°F (±0.3°C) and 0.1°F/°C resolution, while also capable of measuring surface temperatures from 32°F to 140°F (0°C to 60°C) with ±1.5°F (±0.8°C) accuracy. The device features a fast response time of 500 milliseconds, operates at an optimum measurement distance of 1.9" to 5.9" (5 to 15 cm), and includes a large backlit LCD display with memory storage for up to 32 readings. The non-contact design eliminates the need for replacement probe covers and reduces the potential spread of diseases, making it ideal for screening individuals and monitoring temperature changes in healthcare, workplace, and public health settings.
