DESCRIPTION

The 2643801002 is a round ferrite cable EMI suppression core manufactured by Fair-Rite Products, designed to reduce electromagnetic interference in cable applications. This core features material grade 43 ferrite with burnished edges to eliminate sharp surfaces, and has outer diameter A of 29 mm (±0.75 mm), inner diameter B of 19 mm (±0.50 mm), and a standard length C of 7.5 mm (±0.25 mm), with a weight of 13.6 g. The core exhibits typical impedance values of 16.7 O at 10 MHz, 25 O at 25 MHz (minimum), 43 O at 100 MHz (minimum), and 69 O at 250 MHz, with a calculated DC bias field of 0.17 Oe per ampere-turn. The core length can be modified to suit specific applications, making it suitable for a wide range of EMI suppression requirements in industrial, telecommunications, and consumer electronics where cable-borne noise reduction is critical.
