DESCRIPTION

FMAD1029 is a 2.92mm male to 2.4mm male RF adapter from Fairview Microwave designed to enable connections between two incompatible connector types. The adapter features a straight body geometry with 50 ohm impedance, constructed from passivated stainless steel with gold over nickel plated beryllium copper contacts meeting MIL-G-45204 specifications. It operates across a frequency range from DC to 40 GHz with a maximum VSWR of 1.3:1 (1.15:1 from DC to 18 GHz), and is rated for 500 mating cycles with a mating torque of 8 to 10 in-lbs (0.90 to 1.13 Nm) on both connectors. The adapter measures 0.883 inches (22.43 mm) in length and 0.312 inches (7.92 mm) in width, weighing 0.009 lbs (4.08 g), and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +100°C.
