DESCRIPTION

FBR57ND24-N is a compact high-power relay designed for 24V battery automotive applications, featuring a 1 pole configuration with a maximum carrying current of 40A for 10 minutes or 30A for 1 hour at 25°C. The relay utilizes silver-tin oxide indium contact material with a contact gap of 0.8mm and is housed in a plastic sealed enclosure, providing high heat resistance and extended operating voltage capability. It supports a maximum switching voltage of 28VDC with a locked motor load of 12A and inrush current of 15A, making it suitable for controlling 24V motors in trucks and other large vehicles. The device operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and meets RoHS compliance requirements, with mechanical life rated at minimum 10 million operations and electrical life at minimum 100,000 operations under locked motor load conditions.
