DESCRIPTION

The 3977641 is a documenting process calibrator that combines the functions of a standard calibrator with a HART communicator. It can source and measure voltage, current, temperature, pressure, resistance, and frequency, and features integrated HART communication functions to monitor, control, and calibrate HART instrumentation without a second tool. The device supports automated procedures to capture as-found/as-left results, which can be transferred to a PC via USB for documentation and analysis. It also handles fast pulsed RTD transmitters and PLCs with pulses as short as 1 ms. This rugged, handheld calibrator is ideal for process plant technicians who need a single, powerful tool for calibrating and troubleshooting both conventional and HART smart instruments, streamlining workflow and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
