DESCRIPTION
The 10-8880 is a high voltage putty made from a silicone rubber compound with excellent insulating characteristics. It provides a corona and arc suppressing coating in high voltage systems, featuring a dielectric strength of approximately 550 Volts/MIL. This compound is designed to never harden or shrink and maintains good adhesive properties over time. It is particularly useful for coating sharp points, edges, or corners, and its putty-like consistency also makes it suitable for forming gaskets and seals where a non-hardening property is desired.
