DESCRIPTION

GV241FAB is a 400+ amp 800 VDC contactor designed for demanding industrial and marine applications requiring reliable high-current switching in hazardous environments. The device features a hermetically sealed design meeting UL1604 for Class I & II Division 2 and Class III hazardous locations, IP67 rating for temporary water immersion, and compliance with SAE J1171 and ISO8846 standards for ignition protection around flammable gases. Key technical specifications include a rated voltage of 800 V, contact arrangement of SPST-NO for main contacts with optional auxiliary contacts, mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles, maximum contact resistance of 0.4 mO, and insulation resistance of 100 MO. The contactor operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C, withstands shock loads up to 50 G when actuated, and includes built-in coil suppression for all DC coils.
