DESCRIPTION

The 4L-C-12D is a latching DC frame solenoid designed for continuous duty (100% 'On' Time) applications. It operates at 12VDC, drawing 471 mA of current with a coil resistance of 25.5 Ω and consuming 5.9 W of power. This solenoid provides a variable pull force, such as 108 oz at a 0.050-inch stroke, and features a permanent magnet that delivers a holding force of 160 oz at 0 VDC, maintaining position without power. Its latching capability makes it ideal for energy-efficient applications like security mechanisms, sorting equipment, and industrial automation controls.
