DESCRIPTION

The 1550AEGASKET is an EVA pre-formed gasket designed for use with Hammond's 1550A liquid-resistant enclosure systems. This gasket provides reliable sealing to protect electronic components from moisture and environmental contamination. The gasket is supplied in black color and is specifically engineered to work with the 1550A enclosure series, which features diecast aluminum alloy construction with inside dimensions of 85.16 mm length × 31.16 mm width × 27.10 mm height. The EVA material offers excellent chemical resistance and durability, making it ideal for applications requiring liquid-resistant protection in industrial, outdoor, and harsh environmental conditions. The gasket integrates seamlessly with the enclosure's cover screw assembly and is recommended for use with a torque specification of 75 ozf.in (55 cN.m) to ensure proper sealing performance.
