DESCRIPTION

The 1554FGASKET is a replacement gasket designed for use with Hammond 1554 series enclosures, specifically models such as the 1554FGY and 1554GGY. It is constructed as a single piece from high-temperature, U.L. listed silicone to ensure durability and reliable sealing. This gasket fits into the enclosure's two-piece "tongue & groove" construction to provide protection against the ingress of oil, dust, and water. When used with a compatible polycarbonate enclosure, it helps the assembly meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12, & 13 and IP68 ratings, making it ideal for protecting electronics in harsh environments.
