DESCRIPTION

The 1554JGASKET is a replacement gasket designed for use with Hammond 1554J series enclosures, which have dimensions of 6.30 x 3.50 inches. It is constructed as a single piece from high-temperature, U.L. listed silicone. This gasket fits into the enclosure's two-piece "tongue & groove" construction to provide robust protection against the ingress of oil, dust, and water. Using this gasket helps the polycarbonate versions of the 1554J enclosures meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 & 13 ratings, and up to an IP68 rating.
