DESCRIPTION

The 171B is a plug-in isolation transformer from the 171 Series, designed to provide complete circuit isolation for indoor applications. It operates with a 115VAC, 50/60 Hz primary and provides a 115VAC secondary, handling a capacity of 200 VA with 93% full load efficiency. The unit features an electrostatic shield that delivers -37.15 dB of surge and noise suppression, with a low total harmonic distortion of 0.195%. For overcurrent protection, a 2 Amp circuit breaker is integrated into the primary circuit, and the transformer is hi-pot tested to 2 KV RMS. Equipped with a standard North American 3-wire grounded plug and receptacle, the 171B is ideal for protecting sensitive electronic equipment from power line noise and surges.
