DESCRIPTION

The M80-5421642 is a DATAMATE J-TEK DIL horizontal surface-mount male connector assembly with board-mount configuration, designed for high-reliability interconnection applications. It features a glass-filled PPS moulding (UL94V-0, black) with copper alloy contacts and stainless steel jackscrews, supporting a maximum current rating of 3.0 A at 25 °C (2.2 A at 85 °C) and a working voltage of 800 V AC/DC with 1200 V AC/DC voltage proof. The connector exhibits a contact resistance of 25 mO maximum and insulation resistance of 100 MO minimum, with mechanical durability rated for 500 operations and an operating temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C. Multiple finish options are available (0.75 µm gold all over, or gold on contact area with tin/lead or 100% tin on tails), and the connector is supplied in tube packaging with board-mount screws provided separately, making it suitable for industrial control, telecommunications, and instrumentation systems requiring robust, compact interconnection.
