DESCRIPTION

The AWM720P1 airflow sensor from Honeywell features a compact package design with ultra stable null and full-scale performance. An airflow sensor measures the mass air flow rate entering a fuel-injected internal combustion engine. An engine control unit or ECU requires air flow measurement to provide an accurate fuel mass to an engine.

This mass air sensor offers exceptionally low hysteresis and repeatability errors with less than 0.35% of reading. It consumes power lesser than 60 mW and assures a quick 6 ms response rate. It is suitable for portable devices and battery-powered systems. Other potential uses of this Honeywell Flow Sensor are mass flow controllers, leak detection, environmental climate controls, fuel cell controls, oxygen concentrators, spectroscopy and anesthesia delivery, among others.
