DESCRIPTION

The HONEYWELL part GSXA42C is a MICRO SWITCH™ Hazardous Location Safety Limit Switch in the GSX Series. It features a red epoxy-coated aluminum housing and a top roller plunger. The switch has 2 normally closed (NC) and 1 normally open (NO) slow action break before make contacts. It is rated for AC-15 and DC-13 applications, with a rating of A300 and Q300 respectively. The switch has a NEMA 1, 3, 4, 12, and 13 rating, as well as an IP67 seal rating, making it suitable for use in various environments. It has an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 70 °C [-40 °F to 158 °F]. The switch has a 1/2 - 14 NPT conduit termination.It has NEMA 7: Class I, Div. 1 & 2, Groups B, C & D; NEMA 9: Class II, Div. 1 & 2, Groups E, F, & G hazardous location ratings. The switch is also Ex d IIC T6 ta -40 °C to +70 °C Gb / Ex tb IIIC T85 °C Db rated. It has agency approvals including ATEX (CE), cULus, IEC Ex, KOSHA, and INMETRO.The GSXA42C switch includes both external and internal ground screw terminals for easy installation and grounding.
