DESCRIPTION

Humidity sensors are used to provide an indication of the moisture levels in the environment and are very useful for industry processes. The HIH-5030 series sensors supply low voltage and are often ideal in battery-powered systems. These sensors are designed specifically for high volume OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) users. They are used in a variety of applications such as industrial air compressors, HVAC equipment, battery-powered systems, drying equipment, OEM assemblies, office automation equipment, process equipment, refrigeration, telecommunications cabinets, weather stations and meteorology equipment, hospital air compressors, infant incubators, microenvironments, sleep apnea equipment, and treadmill stress monitoring equipment.

The HIH-5031-001 SMD Humidity Sensor features low power design with tape and reel packaging and laser-trimmed interchangeability. This Honeywell sensor is chemically-resistant and has fast response time.
