DESCRIPTION

SS311PT Hall-Effect Sensor from Honeywell features a compact design with SOT-23 surface mount package supplied on tape and reel and has an automated component placement. This bipolar sensor comes with a built-in pull-up resistor which can be easily connected with common electronic circuits without adding external components. Honeywell sensor SS311PT is ideal for various simple, high-volume, cost-sensitive and rotary sensing applications.

Hall-effect Sensors are devices whose output signal is a magnetic field density function. They are activated by an external magnetic field and their outputs are available in linear and digital forms. Potential applications of hall-effect sensors include speed detection, positioning and current sensing.
