DESCRIPTION

The GFT15I is a 15A, 125V AUTOGUARD® self-testing Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) receptacle designed for enhanced electrical safety. It operates on a 120V AC (102V to 132V), 60 Hz supply and features a sensitive trip level of 4 to 6 mA with a nominal trip time of 0.25 seconds. Key features include the AUTOGUARD® self-test technology, which automatically monitors its own status and denies power if protection is lost, and a patented tamper-resistant shutter mechanism. The device is back and side wired, accommodating #14 to #10 AWG solid or stranded copper conductors. With a wide operating temperature range from -35°C to 66°C and a durable nylon construction, it is suitable for various residential applications where safety and reliability are paramount.
