DESCRIPTION

The HE2B-M211 is a redundant, 3-position (OFF-ON-OFF) enabling switch designed for safety-critical manual machine control. It is configured with two 3-position switch contacts, one normally closed push monitor contact, and one normally closed return monitor contact for enhanced reliability and diagnostics. The switch features snap-acting contacts for the OFF-to-ON transition and positive action contacts for the ON-to-OFF transition to prevent contact welding per EN60947-5-1. This model is supplied without a rubber cover, providing IP40 protection. It is ideally suited for use as a 'deadman' switch on teach pendants for manual robotic control, ensuring a high level of safety based on human behavioral patterns in panic situations.
