DESCRIPTION
The APD-4BS-K2 is a 4-way socket plug connector designed for transportation and industrial applications requiring robust electrical connectivity. It operates at 48 VDC with a maximum contact resistance of 5 mO and withstands 1000 VAC voltage proof testing for 60 seconds, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments. The connector features Code 4 blue mechanical keying (RAL 5012), IP 67 + IP 69K sealing protection, and operates across a temperature range of -40°C to 140°C with humidity up to 95% relative humidity. It is rated for 50 mating cycles with a maximum coupling torque of 1.2 Nm and supports static loads of 250 N axial and 150 N lateral when mated. The housing is constructed from PBT GF material with HNBR sealing, providing excellent resistance to brake fluid, ATF, fuel, and other industrial fluids. This connector is ideal for automotive and transportation systems where durability, environmental sealing, and electrical reliability are critical requirements.
