DESCRIPTION

249-4518-000 is a two-piece metal backshell designed for use with DL3/DLM3 series ZIF connectors from ITT Cannon. The backshell features die cast aluminum construction with acrylic paint finish and stainless steel hardware, providing EMI/RFI shielding capabilities. Key dimensions include 77.8 mm (3.06 in) length, 33.0 mm (1.30 in) width, and 65.8 mm (2.59 in) depth, with a maximum cable entry of 19.05 mm (0.750 in). The wire hood can be installed in two positions for either 90° or straight cable entry by rotating the hood. The kit includes 2 shells, 9 screws, 1 wire hood, 1 wire clamp, and 1 lock/open indication seal, making it suitable for military, aerospace, and industrial interconnect applications requiring robust cable strain relief and environmental protection.
