DESCRIPTION

The CA121003-10 is a dust cap accessory for CGE high-power receptacle connectors manufactured by ITT Cannon. It is designed for shell size 28 receptacles and provides protective coverage for connector contacts during storage and transport. The cap features aluminum alloy construction with olive chromate over cadmium finish, PTFE insulator material, and hard silver-plated copper contacts, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance in demanding environments. With dimensions of 5.5 mm (a), 169 mm (b), 25.4 mm (c maximum), and 52.6 mm (d maximum), it fits securely over size 28 receptacles. This dust cap is commonly used in military land- and sea-borne vehicle electrical systems and industrial applications where CGE connectors transmit high current at low voltage, protecting contacts from contamination and mechanical damage.
