DESCRIPTION

M24308/23-8Z is a subminiature rectangular connector plug featuring 15 solder contacts, part of the Cannon D*D Environmental Series designed for demanding aerospace and ground support equipment applications. The connector is constructed with a rugged aluminum shell with cadmium plating and yellow chromate supplementary coating, providing superior vibration and moisture resistance. Solder-type contacts are copper alloy with gold plating (0.00002 inches over 0.00004 inches nickel), factory-installed and non-removable, and the assembly includes nylon potting cups and dust caps for environmental protection. This connector meets all applicable requirements of MIL-C-24308 and is ideal for aircraft, missile, and ground support equipment where reliability and environmental durability are critical.
