DESCRIPTION

M24308/24-31F is a subminiature rectangular connector plug from the Cannon D*D Environmental Series, engineered to meet MIL-C-24308 requirements for demanding aerospace and ground support equipment applications. The connector features a rugged aluminum shell with cadmium plating and yellow chromate supplementary coating, combined with a peripheral seal to provide superior vibration and moisture resistance. Contacts are available in solder or crimp configurations, with solder contacts being non-removable and factory-installed, while crimp-type connectors utilize the field-proven LITTLE CAESAR® rear insertion, rear-release retention system. All assemblies are provided with nylon potting cups and dust caps for environmental protection. This connector is ideal for aircraft, missile, and ground support equipment where reliability under harsh environmental conditions is critical, though it is not intermateable with other D Subminiature connectors.
