DESCRIPTION

MDM-100PBSL56 is a 100-contact Micro-D PCB connector featuring pin (plug) contacts with straight PCB termination designed for high-density interconnect applications. This connector utilizes a standard MDM metal shell with Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) insulator material and offers a modified termination tail length of 0.150" (3.81mm). The connector provides high reliability with specifications including dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, and contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum at 3 amps. It is designed to withstand thermal shock from -55°C to +125°C, vibration up to 20 G's, and physical shock up to 50 G's. Common applications include flex circuitry, flat cable, printed circuit boards, and multi-layer boards in board-to-board, board-to-cable, and cable-to-cable configurations.
