DESCRIPTION

MDM-15PBRP-A172 is a Micro-D PCB connector featuring 15 pin contacts with 0.050" (1.27 mm) contact spacing, designed for high-density and high-reliability interconnect applications. This connector utilizes a metal shell with gold over nickel (A172) finish and Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) insulator material, with 90° right angle board termination (BR) and jackpost mounting hardware (P). Key dimensions include A Max of 1.540" (39.12 mm), B of 1.300" (33.02 mm), and C of 0.715" (18.16 mm), with a termination grid pattern of 0.100" x 0.100" (2.54 mm x 2.54 mm) offset 0.050" (1.27 mm). The connector is rated for dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, and supports 500 mating cycles. It is ideal for use with flex circuitry, flat cable, printed circuit boards, and multi-layer boards in board-to-board, board-to-cable, and cable-to-cable applications.
